Thirty-three years ago, the Who was supposed to play a gig in Rhode Island, but then-Mayor Buddy Cianci cancelled the show after 11 people were killed in Ohio before a Who concert. The Associated Press reported that 14 of the 1979 concert ticket holders have now been able to cash in their presumed useless tickets for the show at the same venue set to take place in February—the last stop for the Quadrophenia tour.... full story
