BRATTLEBORO, Vt. — The widow of former U.S. Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart has died in Vermont. Mary Ann Bertles Stewart was 93.Her daughter, Harriet Stewart Virkstis, says she died Monday in Brattleboro of pneumonia.Stewart's husband was appointed to the court in 1958 and retired in 1981. He died in 1985.
